Synopsis
Growing up in the Amazon rainforest, Autumn makes the rarest of friendships when she discovers a missing jaguar cub named Hope. When a tragic event forces Autumn to leave Hope behind for the unknown of New York, she dreams for years of returning to the rainforest and her friend. 14 years old and already accustomed to city life, Autumn discovers that her childhood village is under threat from animal traffickers and decides that she must return to the Amazon to her beloved jaguar. Anya (Emily Beth Rickard) – Autumn’s delightfully clumsy biology teacher – tries unsuccessfully to talk her out of this reckless plan. Autumn, joined by Anja, embarks on a journey to reunite with Hope and save her from those who seek to destroy the rainforest and its wildlife.
