Synopsis
Adaptation of James Patterson’s series of novels about the complicated and brilliant detective Alex Cross
Hodge is the third actor to play Cross, following in the footsteps of Morgan Freeman, who first played him on screen in 1997’s Kiss the Girls and again in the 2001 film sequel Along Came a Spider; and Tyler Perry as the titular character in 2012’s Alex Cross, which bombed at the box office and led Lionsgate to scrap the pre-planned sequel Double Cross. While I’ve never read any of the source material for James Patterson’s books, I had heard of Alex Cross long before this TV series was in production.
It’s definitely something I knew I would like, and I did
a lot. Aldis Hodge is an up-and-coming and underrated actor, and he absolutely rocks as Alex Cross.
homicide detective and forensic psychologist
The series follows Cross, who is a decorated D.C. He studies victims to better understand who killed them.
The best thing this show has going for it is that it is never boring
Here, he tracks down a serial killer with his partner, John Sampson (Isaiah Mustafa), who also has ties to his past. In addition to being a detective, he is also a family man and is dedicated to being great at both.
Cross does that
That’s the least you want from a show, to be involved in the story and never get bored.
