For starters, it’s a good, solid series about serial killers
Synopsis
Series adaptation of James Patterson’s novels about the complicated and brilliant detective Alex Cross. Hodge is the third actor to portray Cross, following in the footsteps of Morgan Freeman, who first portrayed him on screen in 1997’s Kiss the Girls and again in the 2001 sequel Along Came a Spider; and Tyler Perry as the title character in 2012’s Alex Cross, which flopped at the box office and led Lionsgate to scrap the planned sequel, Double Cross.
So I fixed that
However, I think it’s Luther’s poor relation in the UK with Idris Elba. Both he and Cross are presented as having extraordinary psychological analysis skills.
With Luther you get it
With Cross you don’t. There are only two times in 8 episodes where he shows up “Spider-Man” and gives analysis that the others don’t see.
And the last point is Iasiah Mustafa
Then there’s the lackluster acting from some of the main cast. Their scenes don’t do justice to the remarkable acting of the main characters.
An enjoyable series, but I think Luther does it better
In this series, he is the spitting image of Andy Farrell, the coach of the Irish rugby team. One is black and the other is white, but my goodness, the resemblance is uncanny!
