Synopsis
When a loyal police dog and his master, a police officer, get injured together, a brain-wrenching but life-saving operation brings them both together, and Dog Man is born. Dog Man is sworn to protect and serve — and to fetch, sit, and roll. As Dog Man embraces his new identity and struggles to impress his handler (Lil Rel Howery, Get Out, Free Guy), he must stop the rather evil feline supervillain Cat Pete (Pete Davidson; Saturday Night Live, The King of Staten Island). Petey’s latest plan is to clone himself, creating a kitten named Lil Petey to double his crime-fighting prowess. But things get complicated when Lil Petey forms an unexpected bond with Dog Man. When Lil Petey finds himself in the clutches of a common enemy, Dog Man and Petey reluctantly join forces in an action-packed race against time to save the young kitten. In the process, they discover the power of family (and kittens!) to unite even the most hostile enemies.
